Finding items is nice, but this....
First I tried just using the Outlook Express Newsgroup finder to search for groups by name ... like microsoft.xxx.xx which worked. I could read messages all day long. But when I tried participating in the NG's I never could find my message. The method I use to find them and mark them, is to tell the newsgroup

Why are some people so bitter?
The real problem with this newsgroup, in my opinion, is that it failed to route around damage. The damage is not the MagneQuest flame war. So now we have many loosely moderated, Web-based message boards that have proved to be much more productive and friendly to their users than rec.audio.tubes.

Missing Posts on Newsgroups

If I check this option under the View menu when looking at a newsgroup, then I see only the replies to my messages. However this command doesn't stay saved. If I jump to my Inbox and then go back to the newsgroup, I get everything again and have to reset the filter. It's always saved itself before.
